OILKLEEN recently performed the #2A & #2B Main Propulsion Diesel Engine hot oil flush for the USS Harper’s Ferry (LSD-49) in San Diego California.
OILKLEEN launched the new high speed main diesel engine flushing unit on the MPDE #2A and #2B hot oil flushing project for the USS Harper’s Ferry LSD-49. The new OILKLEEN technology can perform oil flushing services for the US Navy in accordance with all current NAVSEA specifications. The OILKLEEN flushing module also has a built in air conditioned oil laboratory and control room. OILKLEEN controls the flushing pumps by a unique computer program which monitors and controls the flow rate from a remote location. This new feature allows for continuous monitoring and the ability to safely shut down the oil flush from various locations either the flight deck or the engine room. The computer program monitors the pump current, oil flow rates, motor rpm, and many more features in real time and allows for perfect variable speed settings during the entire flushing project.
OILKLEEN is dedicated to delivering a quality product at a fair price and protecting the environment in the process. During this hot oil flushing service there are many safety factors and devices used by OILKLEEN to ensure that no oil is spilled on the ship, the pier, and especially in the water. The OILKLEEN hot oil flushing process is safe and delivers the best results in the industry.
The OILKLEEN patented high speed oil flushing unit is specifically designed for US Naval and US Coast Guard main diesel engines, propulsion system, and hydraulic hot oil flushing services. This on-board service not only meets current NAVSEA Naval Military specs for hot oil flushing, but exceeds them to deliver the highest quality of contamination removal and on-site analysis in the world. The high speed portable oil flushing unit can be shipped anywhere in the world. The OILKLEEN Computerized Hot Oil Flushing Unit contains the most advanced filtration system in a unique configuration to completely remove contamination such as sub micron particles, dirt, water, metal, and sludge. The advanced onboard computer monitoring system will monitor and trend the analysis from start to finish of the project, to not only deliver the cleanest results, but provide a detailed engineering report and certificate of analysis report for performance and future maintenance trending of that vessel.
